Aggregate Material
Aggregare Material overview

Our aggregates materials are state certified granular materials such as sand, gravel, or crushed stone that, with water and portland cement, are the essential in creating the right concrete strength for your project. Our goal is to manufacturer superior concrete mix using aggregates from our facility that is clean, hard, strong, particles free of absorbed chemicals or coatings of clay and other fine materials that could cause the deterioration of concrete.

Aggregates used in creating concrete can account up to 75 percent of the total volume used and these materials are divided into two distinct categories: fine and coarse sizes. Fine aggregates generally consist of natural sand or crushed stone with particles sizes of 3/8-inch (9.5-mm). Coarse aggregates are generally in the range of 3/8 and 1.5 inches in diameter.

Gravels constitute the majority of coarse aggregate used in creating concrete with crushed stone. Again, our aggregates and gravel are certified state approved materials. Crushed aggregate is produced by crushing quarry rock, boulders, cobbles, or large-size gravel. Our concrete recycling center is also a viable source of aggregate. Our Aggregate processing consists of crushing, screening, and washing the aggregate to obtain proper cleanliness and gradation.
